After installation please follow these steps for resetting your lamp timer:
1) Press the [Menu] button to display the menu.
2) Select "Function" > "Lamp Reset" from the menu.
3) On the "Reset Lamp Time?" screen, select "Yes" and press the [OK] button. Your lamp timer should now be reset to 0 hours.

Ordered a replacement lamp for my JVC RS-600U D-ILA projector since JVC has discontinued production of their lamps. Price was very reasonable. The lamp is the same Ushio lamp that JVC uses, not the cheap knock-off lamps that some vendors use which do not last and or are dimmer. I removed my relatively new JVC (300 hours) OEM lamp and installed the Pureland lamp. I was a bit shocked to see that the screen image was noticeably brighter than the OEM lamp. I know that initially lamps get dim really fast for the first few hundred hours and then stabilize so it could be that the OEM lamp had already reached its normal brightness and was dimmer than new.
I like Pureland's quick shipping, the lamp was sent out the same day it was ordered and was received in a few days. Included free shipping is Fedex Ground which is pretty nice. You can opt for second day air for a reasonable fee.
The lamp housing is not identical to the JVC lamp, it has some different stamping of lettering on the outside but still fit with no issues as it was physically the same. With their 180-day warranty, you cannot go wrong with Pureland.

I bought a replacement bulb from pureland about a year ago and projector is still going strong. It has over 2300 hours on it. It’s actually outlasted the OEM lamp which was an unexpected surprise. I just placed an order for a new bulb as a backup - will continue to buy bulbs here. Great quality and price. Also for the record, my projector has lost power from storms and has been hit a few times which affects the bulb life so the 2300 hours is even more impressive. Thanks.
