Sony Projector Lamp

Solid lamp with Philips bulb - can't go wrong. We got many years out of the last one we purchased from Pureland.

I needed a Sony lamp, tried Pureland. Called them up and asked them a thousand questions because I was considering getting rid of this TV. They assured me the installation was easy and even gave me some maintenance recommendations (cleaning out TV and don't restrict air flow). Lamp arrived in a few days and now I'm a happy customer. It was very easy to install, you basically pull out the old cartridge and then push in the new one. The bulb was a Philips bulb as they claimed (I asked why Amazon has them for like $50.00 less and it turns out you need to make sure it's not a generic). Probably why the reviews on Amazon were a little less than spectacular to put it mildly. They told me these lamps are still popular and will be available for some time so I'm going to keep watching my shows on my (older) Sony TV.
