The Smart 685ix Projection System lamp replacement comes with a genuine original 230 watt Osram bulb inside.It has a rated brightness of 2,500 lumens (Equal to the original Smartboard lamp). The Smart 685ix replacement lamp has a rated life of 2,500 hours (4,000 hours in Eco mode).

Changing the lamp on the Smart 685ix:

Remove the 20-01175-20 lamp replacement
Press tab and slide new lamp into slot
Release tab and tighten (2) screws on the projector lamp
Now slide the inner cover back on along with the outer lamp cover

Lamp timer reset instructions on the Smart 685ix unit:

Quickly press Down-Up-Up-Left-Up on your remote control
Scroll to the lamp hour reset area on the menu then select OK
Now press Menu and lamp hours to make sure it is at zero
