Follow these instructions for replacing the lamp in your Epson PowerLite 1880 projector unit:
- Unplug unit, let lamp fully cool down for at least an hour before touching
- Loosen screw that secures the lamp cover then slide lamp cover off
- Loosen screw that hold lamp into the projector (note they do not come completely out)
- Pull handle and remove lamp from projector
- Now gently push new lamp into projector and tighten screws
- Replace lamp cover and plug projector back in
- Press the menu button and select Reset then press enter
- Select Reset Lamp Hours and then press enter
- You will be prompted to verify reset lamp hours, select yes
- Exit out of menu

I am so impressed with Pureland Supply! This is the first time I have used this company and they were so very helpful and the bulb worked perfectly. It has been a month and so much better than the replacement bulb I purchased previously from Amazon. Although that bulb was less pricey, it blew in a little over a week and I was worried that something was wrong with my projector when really it was the bulb! Pureland's customer service helped to reassure me that their bulbs are better quality and are under warranty for 180 days and feel they must be of a higher quality. With projector bulbs you definitely get what you pay for so invest the money!
