I used to believe that it didn't matter where you purchased a new Lamp. But, I learned my lesson a few years ago. Our 12 year old Sony KDS tv(okay, it's not a SMART TV)still rivals the picture of the new models, even after all these years!! And ESPECIALLY ordering from Pureland makes a BIG difference. Their Lamps last for at least 18 months. You have to figure in Power Outages, when the power in your home shuts down while the tv is running, causing the Lamp to weaken over time. I have a Battery Back-Up that keeps the tv on, so I can turn off the tv myself in time to let the FAN cool down the Lamp, so it doesn't sit in ALL that Heat! Pureland Supply, I believe has the strongest Lamp on the market, even under power loss conditions, even without a Battery Back-Up. I NEVER order them from anywhere else now. Watch out for those so called bargains, they WILL come back to bite you.
