Sony VPL-VW295ES Projector Lamp with Philips UHP Bulb

The lamp and housing from Pureland Supply was installed into a Sony VPL-VW295ES. It installed perfectly fine and good fit. However, after replacing the new lamp was significantly darker than the OEM replacement with 4400 hours. The Lamp Timer was cleared and I changed the pj mode into BRIGHT TV. Even still the PJ menu was barely discernible. I removed and reinstalled the new lamp - no change. Then reinstalled the old OEM lamp, again the old lamp was as bright as I would expect it to be. So, I have to conclude there is a Pureland lamp issues. I will contact tomorrow to seek a replacement. The other lamps that I have purchased through Pureland Supply for other projectors never had issues before. I do not expect any issues in having Pureland resolve the issue quickly.

Wow, what a difference a fresh bulb makes! The colors are so much more vibrant now compared to the old, dim lamp – feels like a brand new projector. Huge thanks to PurelandSupply for getting me that replacement lamp so quickly; movie nights are back on!

Got the new Philips UHP bulb from PurelandSupply super quick, which saved my bacon on this install. Popped it into the VPL-VW295ES and bam, it's like a brand new projector again! Client's thrilled, and honestly, so am I.
