The EK-401W Eiki projector lamp replacement comes with a genuine original 300 watt Philips bulb inside rated at 4,000 lumens (brightness equal to the original Eiki lamp replacement). After replacing your lamp please follow these instructions to reset your lamp timer:
1) Press the Menu button and move cursor button to "Settings 2" menu.
2) Move cursor down to "Advanced 1" and press enter.
3) Now move cursor to "Lamp Hours Reset" and use the arrow buttons to set the hours to zero. You can now press the Menu button to get back to "Settings 2".

I was a little worried that I was going to have trouble finding a replacement lamp for my Eiki projector. However ,when I started a search for the replacement lamp, the Pureland site came right up. Put in my #'s and my lamp appeared. Was exactly what I needed and the price was great too. Ordered the part and got it within 2 days. Installed the lamp and turned on the projector and just worked great and was super easy to do. Doesn't get any easier than that. Great site. thanks
