The brightness is noticeably less than the OEM I replaced. I had 3300 hours on the bulb I replaced and it only started to show signs of dimming recently. When I swapped it out with the pureland bulb, I couldn't tell the difference between the two with the same settings. I had to turn the brightness up to 65 from 48 on the projector to get the picture to look right. Which is the complete opposite of what I had to do with the OEM bulb when I first bought the projector. I had to turn the brightness down so it was not washing the picture out. So I'm not exactly optimistic about the longevity of this replacement. I feel like I could have turned the brightness up with the OEM bulb until it finally gave out completely and gotten the same performance of this bulb, albeit for probably another 250 hours or so. So I'm assuming I'll be turning the brightness up to 100 in a few hundred hours because it will probably be noticeably dim. Hopefully I get 2000 good hours out of it. Only time will tell.
