Alright, the new lamp from PurelandSupply for the PLC-XU87 seems way better built than the old one, feeling solid in my hands. Hopefully, this one lasts longer because the plastic housing appears more durable, which should mean less classroom downtime. Teachers are already happy since the picture is bright again, so fingers crossed this is a win.
